Host Page

URL pattern, what is shown, theme, SEO.

The host page is your main public page: it lists your properties and shows your branding. This article explains the URL pattern, what is shown, and how theme and SEO work.

URL Pattern

The host page URL is typically:

yoursite.com/h/your-slug

For example: /h/vila-real-properties or /h/porto-apartments. The slug is the part after /h/. You set it in SettingsPublic Pages (e.g. "Host page slug" or "Page URL"). Choose a short, readable slug (e.g. your business name or city) so the link is easy to share.

What Is Shown

On the host page guests usually see:

  • Hero or header – Your name, logo, and a short tagline or description (if you set them in Settings).
  • Property list – All your public properties (not hidden). Each entry may show:
    • Main photo
    • Property name
    • Short description or key details (e.g. bedrooms, capacity)
    • Link to the property page (so the guest can view details and book)
  • Contact or call-to-action – A button or link to contact you or to go to a specific property.

Properties that you have marked as hidden from the public do not appear on the host page. Only properties that are public and not hidden are listed.

Theme

The theme (colors, logo) is set in SettingsPublic Pages (or Theme). You can usually set:

  • Primary color – Used for buttons and links.
  • Logo – Your logo image so it appears on the host page and on property pages.
  • Background or accent – Depending on the app, you may have more options.

Theme applies to both the host page and the property pages so your branding is consistent. See Theme Customization.

SEO

The host page is built so search engines can index it: it has a clear title, description, and structure. The exact SEO features (e.g. meta tags, structured data) depend on the product. To improve SEO, use a clear host slug, a good title and description in Settings, and keep your property names and descriptions clear and relevant. See Public Pages Settings for where to set title and description.
