Guest History

How to open a guest and what you see (reservations, stats, profile).

Opening a guest profile shows their contact details, reservation history, and any notes you have added. This article explains how to open a guest and what you see on their profile page.

How to Open a Guest

  1. Go to DashboardGuests.
  2. Find the guest in the list (use search or scroll).
  3. Click the guest name or the View or Open action.

The guest profile page opens.

What You See

Profile Information

  • Name – Full name.
  • Email – Email address. This is the key used to link the guest to reservations.
  • Phone – If you have added it.
  • Address – Billing or contact address, if you use it (e.g. for invoicing).
  • VAT number – If you collect it for billing.
  • Preferred language – Language for automated emails (e.g. Portuguese, English, Spanish).
  • Notes – Internal notes you have added (e.g. preferences, special requests). Not sent to the guest.

You can edit these fields from the profile page (see Editing a Guest Profile).

Reservation History

A list (or timeline) of all reservations for this guest:

  • Past stays (check-out date in the past).
  • Current or upcoming stays (check-in and check-out dates).
  • Cancelled reservations (if the UI shows them).

For each reservation you typically see: property, check-in, check-out, status, and total price. Click a reservation to open its detail view.

Stats (if shown)

Some UIs show simple stats: number of reservations, total nights, or total revenue for this guest. Use this to see who your repeat guests are.

Actions From the Profile

  • Edit profile – Update name, phone, address, language, or notes.
  • Create reservation – Start a new reservation for this guest (the form may pre-fill their email and profile data).
  • Open reservation – Click a reservation in the history to view or edit it.

Use the guest profile when the guest contacts you: open their profile to see their history and notes, then create or edit a reservation as needed.
